Black beadboard island? CHECK!

Jon is wonderful and painted under the island for me last night. I love it and think it looks fabulous! I'm excited that there isn't flat paint under there anymore to collect the colors of my jeans and anything else that happened to rub against it.

and the finished product! Not the best light as it was dusk, but you get the main idea. (please excuse the horrible state of my kitchen as well. I wasn't home all day to get it picked up.)






It feels great to not want to do anything else to my house- well besides taming the bushes out front, but that's not for a few more months.
