I took some pictures of Kaitlyn earlier this month and thought they were pretty adorable.
Kaitlyn just had her 6 month check up and is doing well! She weighs 16 pounds (50%), is 27 1/4" long (93%), and has a head circumference of 42.8 cm (60%).
She is eating solid foods and loving it. My mom and I made a HUGE batch of carrots (we used a big bag of carrots from Costco) and beans and blended up a few pears. I know, not a whole lot of variety. I think making more to freeze will be on the list this week. We need to do some peas, sweet potato, and squash.
Besides eating, she is also rolling like crazy and is getting better at sitting up. When she's on her tummy, she can hold her upper body up with her arms really well (see the pictures) She loves laughing at Alex, sucking on her toes (again, see pictures), and has an adorable smile.
Here she is in all of her cuteness!

May in pictures
Pretty much we spent our May (at least with the camera...) going to lacrosse playoff games.
Seriously, that and my sister's graduation is all that is on there for May.
So here are some highlight pictures.
This picture pretty much cracks me up
Alex thinks that whenever he sees people out on a field it's a lacrosse game now. He was such a good little cheerer!
Jon took a decent picture of me!
And a cute one of Kaitlyn
And a cute one of Alex
On to the championship game!
here we all are
This is what Alex preferred doing the whole time- exploring!
Back to the game
They WON!!! State Champions!!
Like I previously mentioned, my sister also graduated in May.
I love this girl. This is so her.
I made her graduation announcements and cut out these envelopes with the U cut out on the Silhouette that my MIL so kindly let me use. I can't wait to make more stuff with it!

April in pictures
We went to a few of these
Alex loved being outside
So did Kaitlyn and I
He just didn't love having his picture taken (typical). I call this his paparazzi pose.
We got a second dose of spring (after our first round in TX)
Alex has a new love of exploring
Jon grew a beard for 2.5 weeks while working late nights on a work project.
We got a few doses of winter.
Alex loved taking a bath with BIG bubbles in Grandma's tub
Alex though dying Easter eggs was pretty awesome!
He also loved all of the treats he found in the eggs in his Easter basket (who wouldn't?!)
Kaitlyn also enjoyed her Easter stuff like this cute hat from Grandma Barbara
We happened upon about 8 deer in our new backyard when we took the fam over to see the house we are going to buy.
And the grandparents have been loving having another baby to play with
