Why is it...

that throwing stuff away is endless fun for a certain little boy? I've been eating a lot of easter candy as of late (more specifically, nestle carmel eggs- the easter version of carmel treasures, which are my FAVORITE!), and have thus created a steady supply of wrappers. Alex LOVES taking all of my candy wrappers to the trash. I give them one by one so as to prolong the entertainment for as long as possible.
Alex also really enjoys taking his diapers to the trash (he is wearing disposable diapers at night), which I love as well.
We're still working with him on cleaning up spills and toys, but he at least is happy to clean up the shoes that he finds around the house. Although, last Sunday, Jon found his church shoes in the pantry instead of in the shoe basket.
On the shoe note, Alex also will find my shoes or Jon's shoes for us sine it means that we get to go outside. Alex's shoes of choice for me and my black Madden heels... not always the most practical choice, but he does know that they are mama's shoes.
